 downloads.  A   wireless  DNC  system   provides manufacturers with many

 advantages including the flexibility  to move  machines and avoid  clearance

 issues  typically associated  with  hard-wired DNC systems.The CIMNET

 wireless DNC system consists of  wireless  access  points that  are

 connected to an  Ethernet network. The  access  point distribute

 data  to and from  a  network  to  wireless  RS-232 adapters on  CNC

 machines. The RS-232  adapters on each  machine  convert  incoming

 NC  programs from Ethernet  data into RS-232 signals for input to the

 CNC's serial  communication  port. The system uses Industrial grade

 hardware with superior signal strength  with  built  in  security settings.

ACCESS POINT

CIMNET wireless DNC can be configured to replace or coexist with a legacy DNC system.

A system can be designed to include a combination of wireless and conventional hard wired DNC

connections.
